Terms of Service

By using LitDigest ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. LitDigest is operated from India.

1. The Service

LitDigest generates structured briefs and critiques of academic papers using publicly available metadata (Crossref, arXiv) and AI models. Briefs are AI-generated aids, not a substitute for reading the original paper or for professional peer review. You are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it in academic or commercial work.

2. Accounts & plans

The free tier allows 5 briefs per month. Paid tiers (Pro, Team) unlock unlimited briefs and additional features. Prices are shown on the pricing page in ₹ (INR) and $ (USD).

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to violate publisher copyrights, to redistribute paywalled full-text you are not licensed to access, or to abuse the API. We rate-limit and may suspend abusive accounts.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. AI output may contain errors or omissions.

5. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LitDigest is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of AI-generated briefs.

6. Changes
